This website provides a resource to State of Wisconsin Employees who are trying to compare the financial value of the high-deductible health plan (HDHP) and non-HDHP options in the state health insurance program. Professor Justin Sydnor of the Risk and Insurance Department at the Wisconsin School of Business at UW – Madison has partnered with the Employee Trust Funds for a number of years to study the high-deductible health plan option in the State of Wisconsin Employee Health Insurance Program. The resources provided on this website are a result of the analysis being conducted from this study and are being provided here as an educational tool for state employees.
